really good—how about that? Stephanie is
surprised when her uncle, a successful author, unexpectedly dies and leaves his
house to her. During her first night in
her new mansion, though, she is attacked by evil men and rescued by Skulduggery
Pleasant, the undead skeleton of a wizard.
Stephanie is drawn into Skulduggery’s world of magic, fireballs,
secrets, and a raging battle between good and evil. This comedy/horror/fantasy hybrid is funny,
clever, and fun to read.
