This story is neat because it’s narrated back and forth by twin sisters, one who has a mental disability and one who doesn’t.  If you like books with an unusual perspective, this is the one for you.  Thirteen-year-old Vicky, her twin sister Rhianna, and their younger brother are foster kids who make a run for it when they learn that they’re about to be split up.  They are heading for their elderly great-aunt’s house in the mountains and hiding from the authorities, who are searching for them.  The only part of the story that was less than excellent for me was the ending, which was good but seemed a little unrealistic.  I’d recommend this for kids who liked Cynthia Lord’s Rules.  If you read this, keep in mind that the setting is England, not the United States, and some of the words, especially the slang in the dialogue, might be a little unfamiliar.  No big deal, though.
